Turmeric milk with a twist.
This milk is great in winter or if you suffering from cold and cough . When you drink it hot , it feels like your mother is giving you warm hugs . After a long day wrap yourself in a warm blanket , make this milk , pick up something pleasant to read and switch off from the outside world .
Almond – 1 cup Walnuts -7-8 pieces Soak overnight . Wash the almonds and walnuts in clean water , churn into a paste with 1 cup water . Once it’s paste consistently add another 4 cups of water and strain through cheese cloth and place on the gas to heat .
To this , ADD – Dry ginger -1 tsp Turmeric -1 1/2 tsp Cardamom -1 tsp Cinnamon -1 tsp Black pepper – 1 tsp Maple syrup – 2 tbsp
Add all the above and boil for 10 minutes . You have 4 cups of almond turmeric milk . Sprinkle cinnamon on it before serving .
